OUR ADMINISTRATIVE TEAM
Jessica is the Clinic Manager and is dedicated to ensuring everything at the clinic runs smoothly. She is very knowledgeable in billing WCB and MVA. She is happy to answer any questions you may have to help make your experience pleasant. She also looks after, coordinates, manages and leads a team providing all aspects of booking, billing, and assisting patients.
She finds it especially rewarding to work with people. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, camping and doing archery.
Marivic was raised in the Philippines where she graduated from University of the East Philippines with a Bachelor of Business Administration ("BSBA") degree in 1999. She relocated to Bermuda in 2004 where she worked as an administrator and bookkeeper. Marivic eventually moved to Canada in 2015 with her husband and worked with a non-profit organization for 4 years in various administrative and financial roles. She joined Radiant Physiotherapy in November 2020 as a Billing Coordinator. When Marivic is not volunteering with the Calgary Food Bank and Alberta Health Services, she enjoys cooking, hiking, and socializing with her family and friends.

Heaven is our patient care coordinator. Growing up in a place that highlights the importance of helping others she will always try to find ways to help you. She is eager to assist with all your needs from booking appointments to answering your questions. She will find a way to make your day better by extending the help and care you need. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering and writing.

Jacky is an Administrative Assistant with Radiant Physiotherapy. She is very energetic and loves dealing with people.
She enjoys helping people and has a strong passion for health and wellness. She assists with both the therapist and patient and lends a helping hand whenever needed. In her free time, she enjoys spending it with her family and friends. She also enjoys going to the gym.

Maria is a physiotherapist and proud owner of Radiant Physiotherapy. She has been practicing physiotherapy since 2006. Since graduating she has done many post-grad courses and is certified in Medical Acupuncture (CAFCI) as well as dry needling (IMS). She has also completed many courses in Vestibular rehab and pelvic floor physiotherapy. She has a strong passion for helping people get better and recover from pain. She is keen on treating Chronic pain, back pain, neck pain and Vestibular dysfunctions. She especially likes treating Migraines and cervicogenic dizziness. Her passion is to help people achieve their goals to reaching full recovery and be pain free. Outside the clinic, she is a proud mother and loves to spend time with her kids and husband. She also enjoys hiking, running and painting as well as traveling with family.
Ashley Smith graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor in Kinesiology (Honours) from Memorial University of Newfoundland. She then completed her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University, Nova Scotia in 2012. Ashley has lived and practiced in Calgary since graduating. She has a special interest in Neurological conditions, concussion management, vestibular rehabilitation as well as musculoskeletal injuries. She has completed various courses in functional dry needling, concussion and vestibular therapy. Continuing education and lifelong learning are goals that Ashley strives to achieve. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys reading, hiking, spending time with her family and enjoying the mountain air whenever possible
Paria received her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from University of Alberta in 2015. Prior to completing her Master’s degree, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary.
Paria has successfully completed continuing education courses including her Level I and II certification of the Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative for the lower and upper extremity. She is also certified in Functional Dry Needling/ IMS, and has taken Level I and II Acupuncture courses. She has also completed courses in Concussion Management, TMJ and vestibular dysfunctions, Mulligan concept for the lower quadrant, and lymphaedema management. Paria enjoys assessing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal issues, sports-related injuries, concussion and vestibular dysfunctions; but most importantly, she enjoys getting to know her patients. Paria’s treatments focus on the source of the problem and she takes an active exercise-based approach along with hands-on treatments to help her patients recover from their injuries.
In her spare time, Paria enjoys being outdoors, spending time with her family, and travelling.
Nathan obtained his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta. He has since become certified in Level 1 Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Therapy, Soft Tissue Release, Advanced Vestibular Rehab, and Functional Dry Needling. Nathan is thrilled to share his expertise and passion for active rehabilitation with clients of all ages. He is particularly interested in guiding athletes through proper return to sport protocols after an injury. His approach to rehabilitation is client-centered. He incorporates education, manual therapy, individualized exercise prescription, athletic taping and electrotherapeutic modalities. He plans to complete additional courses in Manual Therapy, Functional Dry Needling advanced course, Acupuncture and R2P Concussion Management.
Outside of the clinic, Nathan enjoys all things active, including running, hockey, hiking, snowboarding and strength training.

Bijish completed his Bachelor of physiotherapy in 2004 and obtained his master of physiotherapy degree in 2006. During his 10+ years of experience, he had the privilege of treating patients of all ages and backgrounds in various multidisciplinary settings.
Bijish has experience working with a wide variety of musculoskeletal and neurological injuries. His assessments focus on targeting the root cause of injury to rehabilitate and prevent future injuries. He uses a hands-on manual therapy based approach with appropriate exercise prescription and electrotherapy to aid treatment. Bijish also has a background in sports physiotherapy. He worked as a team physiotherapist for the Ajman (UAE) volleyball team. Additionally, Bijish obtained his certification in Functional Dry Needling, Kinesio Taping, Acupuncture level 1, Modern Manual Therapy, Movement and Movement Disorders, International Team Physician course, Peripheral Manipulative Therapy and Clinical Neuro Dynamics. Outside of physiotherapy rehab he loves to spend time with his family.

Jessica obtained her Bachelor in Kinesiology with distinction from the University of Calgary in 2016. She soon followed that up with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta in 2019.
Jessica values taking the time to understand each individual’s story. She believes this approach allows her to offer patient centered care, tailored to your specific goals. If you spend a few sessions with Jessica, some expressions may begin to sound familiar, such as “Motion is Lotion”. Jessica enjoys working with a diverse demographic and has gained an interest in sport rehab and recovery.
Outside the clinic, Jessica has been on countless adventures around the globe, feeding her passion for photography. She’s a strong believer in continuous learning and improvement, and that physical well-being is the foundation of quality of life. As a former competitive swimmer, Jessica has expanded her interests to hiking, biking, and water sports.

Nicole obtained her Bachelor of Kinesiology with distinction from the University of Calgary and continued her schooling to complete her Master of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta. She is a FRC (Functional Range Conditioning) mobility specialist, certified in Level 1 Orthopaedic Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Soft Tissue Release. She plans to obtain Functional Dry Needling certification, FR (Functional Range Release), and continue with further orthopaedic levels.
Nicole believes that staying active is key to happiness and enjoyment throughout all stages of life, and she treats with the primary focus of returning patients to their previous or higher level of activity and function. Integrating a combination of home exercises, manual therapy techniques, soft tissue release and education, she strives to help patients achieve their personal functional goals. While sports injury prevention is a main interest for Nicole, she enjoys treating individuals of any age who want to recover from an injury and make an improvement in their level of functioning. In her free time, she pursues many outdoor activities with a passion for rock climbing, mountain biking and backcountry skiing.

Registered Massage Therapist
Shawna discovered the effectiveness of massage first hand while dealing with her own personal health issues. This inspired her to enrol in the 3000-hour RMT training program with a goal to help others. She has an interest in understanding and learning about the connection of physical and mental wellness. Shawna is dedicated to connecting with her patients to understand their needs as individuals, working toward an end result of alleviating and managing pain and stress. She welcomes patients of all ages from all walks of life with all types of injuries and illnesses. Shawna looks forward to learning more through continuing education courses as well as through real-world experience as she firmly believes that once you stop learning, you stop growing.
In her free time you can find her adventuring with her son and dog in the Rocky Mountains on foot, in kayaks or in a tent. She often has extra 4 legged friends staying at her home, or can be found with a baby in her arms helping new mothers
Registered Massage Therapist
Justyna is being practicing alternative health field since 2012 when she graduated from Turner Institute of Orthopedic Massage. She completed her studies at the Alberta College of Acupuncture and traditional Chinese Medicine earning designation of Registered Acupuncturist. She is a member of College and Association of acupuncturists of Alberta (CAAA) and Natural Health Practitioners of Canada) NHPC)
As a practitioner Justyna works to increase the body’s ability to heal itself by using multi-faceted approach. Her treatments not only focus on client’s physical well-being but on their emotional health as well- including anxiety, depression, insomnia, and stress.
Justyna encourages her patients to be active participant in their healing process by sharing with them knowledge of healthy nutrition, self care, and exercises.

Aniya is our registered Acupuncturist at Radiant Physiotherapy, holding Diplomas in Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture along with Diplomas in Massage Therapy and Reflexology from Calgary's Mount Royal University.
Aniya has also had the opportunity to study Auricular Medicine under honourable Dr. Lichun Huang, the world's number one expert in the field of Auricular Medicine as well as the use of ear acupuncture to combat stress and addictions (known as the NADA protocol).
Pursuing her academic studies and traveling worldwide, Aniya has gained a deep understanding of how complementary health modalities, when used conjunctively, can bring on healing on many different levels- encompassing the physical, spiritual and emotional states of being.
Aniya's practice embraces the treatment of many acute, chronic and degenerative conditions with special interest in stress management, painful conditions, headaches/migraines, skin issues, digestive ailments and women's health
